ENGINEERING 2010 - ARGENTINA wishes to intensify the engineers’ commitment to the compliance of the United Nation program: “Millennium Development Goals” convened in 2000 in New York (eradicate poverty and hunger; achieve universal primary education; promote gender equality; reduce child mortality; improve maternal health; combat HIV/AIDS , malaria and other diseases; ensure environmental sustainability; build a global partnership for development). Also it aims to adopting the urgencies agreed in 2002 in the World Summit of Johannesburg (water, energy, health, food and biodiversity).
